Hello!

Who are we?
We are the children and grandchildren of Rubini and Antonis, "Mitrantonis" as he was known around these lands, the original owners of this Olive Garden estate where we are happy to be hosting you today.

So We welcome you, hoping to transfer to you some of the feelings, the peace, the pleasure and fragrance, the sounds and the tastes inside of which we lived, played, grew up. And ultimately came back to. Back to the land of our grandparents, in the "kokkinohorafa" of Vrysomylos, to add our own efforts so that your stay in our garden becomes a sweet memory, a cherished holiday experience filled with sun, sea, travels, adventures... A memory full of contrast between days of rich experiences and others of sunny surrender.
We aspire to transmit to you the flatter in our hearts when we hear the ladyhawk's cry and we turn our heads to the sky to admire her proud flight.
We would like to make you feel the hospitality of "Mitrantonis". Seeing a tractor closing from afar, a sign of visitors approaching, he would cry out to his wife: "Rubini, light a fire, get a rooster to prepare!".
The estate in Vrysomylos was originally used for the cultivation of raisin and for many years was the primary occupation and main source of income for the family. The area was named "Kokkinohorafa" (redfields) because of the thick, red, fertile soil. If you grab some your palms turn red. Through the following years, the land was gradually turned towards olive cultivation, and it still offers us exceptional olive oil year after year.
Inside the fields, the first house was built, starting out as raisin storage and turning into the family summer cottage. This is also where we made our first "dragatsoules", the traditional rough guest houses of those times, out of fern and stubble gathered from the nearby stream. These "dragatsoules" housed our early summer dreams and plans for the future. For the life that was to follow, later, when we would be grown up and would leave the village.
We did grow up...
We left the village
We lived, worked, had familes, children, grandchildren... then came back!

Because this is our place.
Because we love it for what it has offered us and want to share it.
That is what we are aiming to achieve.
We built these residences with love and named them after women in our family:
RUBINI, DAPHNE, KATERINA

Each one has a distinct personality,
But in every one you will find something of the local traditions, a lot of personal labor and, of course, our utmost concern for your carefree stay.
